Gyaarah Gyaarah, directed by Umesh Bist, has opened to a good response from the critics. The time-bending series features Raghav Juyal, Kritika Kamra, and Dhairya Karwa as police officers. The series is set across three decades: 1990, 2001, and 2016. Interestingly, there's a mysterious connection between the three characters: Yug Arya, Vamika Rawat, and Shaurya Anthwal. The latest promo of Kritika aka Vamika sheds light on her mentor Shaurya's disappearance.
The new Gyaarah Gyaaah promo was shared on ZEE5's Instagram handle. The promo begins with an incident from 2001, where Vamika's mentor Shaurya Anthwal suddenly goes missing. Although she is left without any answers, Rawat searches for Anthawal for 15 years. In 2016, a voice from the past reaches out to Yug Arya.
The question that arises now is: Will Vamika be able to uncover the truth about her mentor? Sharing this promo, the streamer captioned it, "Connected to the past and present, Vamika is in a race against time. Will she finally uncover the truth? GyaarahGyaarah streaming now, only on ZEE5 (sic)."
Kritika recently spoke about essaying the character of DSP Vamika Rawat in Umesh's Gyaarah Gyaarah. The actress revealed what drew her to play this role in the series. "What drew me to this role was the fact that I've never played a police officer before. It came to me right after I had finished playing a gangster on screen, in fact," she said.
Kamra added that it was interesting and a pleasant surprise to be on the other side of the law and do things the right way. The actress felt it was an intriguing space for her to explore. Produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Guneet Monga, and Achin Jain, the series premiered on streaming on August 9. Gyaarah Gyaarah is also available for viewing on OTTplay Premium.
