The second single from Challenging Star Darshan’s Kranti was released a little while ago. And much to everyone’s surprise, it wasn’t another lyrical video with only fleeting glimpses from the actual song. Instead, team Kranti decided to give the Kannada superstar’s fans a mighty treat by giving them the full original video from the film – a romantic number featuring Darshan and Rachita Ram.

Bombe Bombe, which has been composed by director-composer V Harikrishna, sung by Sonu Nigam and choreographed by Bhushan master, has Darshan serenading Rachita. The actors, who have reunited many years since they last worked together on Ambareesha, share incredible chemistry and fans are absolutely loving it. But what makes the song extra special, they say, is the magic combination of Harikrishna and Sonu, with a song written by filmmaker Yogaraj Bhat. “Beautiful melody”, “Superb lyrics” and “Amazing vocals” are some of the ways fans have been discussing the song. The song was officially launched by a Darshan fan at a massive event held in Hospet.

The first single from Kranti, Dharani, was launched in Mysuru. The team had earlier announced that in the run-up to the film’s release, all five songs would be out in the public domain. They have planned a road map for the song releases and an announcement for the next should happen soon.

Kranti, produced by Shylaja Nag and B Suresha for Media House Studio is slated to release in theatres on January 26, 2023. The film, which is about bringing about a revolution in education, has Darshan playing an NRI who returns home to help salvage his alma mater, a Kannada medium school. The film has an ensemble cast, including V Ravichandran, Girija Lokesh, Achyuth Kumar, Sumalatha, among others.

The team is going ahead with its pan-India release plans, although, Darshan has categorically stated that he will promote the film only in Karnataka, as he has made a Kannada movie.
