In a week from now on November 25, Allari Naresh will be seen on the big screen again with his rural drama Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam, a year and a half after his earlier release, the courtroom drama Naandhi. Anandhi plays the female lead in the film, written and directed by AR Mohan. Razesh Danda is bankrolling the film under Hasya Movies in collaboration with Zee Studios.

A new song from the film, Kolo Kolo Koyilaa, was launched today. In the number, the residents of Maredumilli celebrate Holi with great fervour and enthusiasm. The song commences with the villagers extending a warm welcome to Allari Naresh, who’s cast as a government officer on election duty. Sekhar master has choreographed the song sung by Mohana Bhogaraju and Yamini Ghantasala.

Kolo Kolo Koyilaa, lyricised by Kasarla Shyam, reminds you of the mood in the iconic Adavi Ramudu number Ennalla Kennalluku, where the villagers honour the cop (played by NTR) as part of their festival. Apart from the thematic similarity, the latest number is chirpier, livelier and ensures a spring in your step. The number is filmed beautifully with a melange of colours and energetic moves.

Allai Naresh, dressed in a white dhoti, looks sharp and has a ball grooving to the number. Sricharan Pakala has scored the music for the film while Raam Reddy is the cinematographer. Abburi Ravi is the dialogue writer. The film’s technical crew comprises Balaji Gutta, the co-producer, noted art director Brahma Kadali, stunt director Pruthvi and editor Chota K Prasad as well.

Vennela Kishore, Praveen, Sampath Raj and Shri Tej play supporting roles in the film whose promotional tour kickstarted earlier this week across Andhra Pradesh. The film’s lead Anandhi was seen in Sudheer Babu’s Sridevi Soda Center in 2021. Allari Naresh’s next is a thriller helmed by Vijay Kanakamedala, produced by Shine Screens.
