Actor Suvinder Vicky, who is playing a crucial character in the upcoming web series Kohrra, says that raising his hand to his co-star Harleen Sethi was one of the most difficult things to do while shooting the series.
Elaborating on the scene, the actor said in a statement, “The first one was when I had to raise my hand to Harleen. Before shooting this scene, I apologised to her, in case I hurt her in the process.”
Created by Gunjit Chopra, Sudip Sharma and Diggi Sisodia, Kohrra also features Barun Sobti, Varun Badola and Manish Chaudhari in key roles. In the show, Suvinder is playing the character of a police officer, named Balbir, who is set out to solve a murder mystery while dealing with his complicated personal life.
He went on to add that the second most difficult scene was his onscreen wife’s flashback scene. According to the actor, he even grew his nails to depict a special frame of mind of the character.
Adding to that, Suvinder said, “We had to be in the moment, a bit unstable and truly immersed in our characters. To make it appear natural, we even grew our nails to depict our state of mind and agreed in advance that if there were any unintended injuries, we would apologise to each other.” The intensity demanded by the scene pushed both actors completely into the moment, he said.
The story of Kohrra revolves around the mysterious murder of an NRI and the actor played the policeman who is also a disturbed father with a troubling past.
The show will be released on Netflix on July 15.
