Koffee With Karan 7 is gearing up to bring back Gauri Khan to the couch yet again for its latest season, after a period of 17 years. Gauri has graced the couch before, making an appearance on the chat show in its debut season. Gauri’s first stint on the couch saw her at her sassy best, and she did not hold back on her brutally honest answers when it came to Karan Johar’s questions about her husband Shah Rukh Khan.

Karan had asked Gauri about how critical she was of SRK’s work at times, to which she replied, “I don’t think I’m over critical at all. In the sense that if he is bad in a film, it's okay. I don't need to praise him even if he’s bad. If he’s bad he has to accept the fact that he wasn't good. It’s just, I'm an audience and if I feel like he has overacted or if he was not so great, I should tell him”.

When Karan asked if she had told SRK that about one of the star’s recent films, she said that most of his past few films had all been good. She went on to say “I have not seen many of his bad films so I don't remember. Guddu and various films. That English Babu and Desi Mem”.

On the host making a mention of Shah Rukh’s 2002 film Shakti, Gauri was quick to respond, saying “Yes, that was totally unbearable. That was his worst performance in a long time."

Karan had spoken of how SRK tended to get upset when Gauri critiqued his performances. But she had an answer to that as well. “He does(get upset), he needs to deal. See my problem with him is I respect him for his profession and that he’s a great actor. He’s reached a level where everyone calls him King Khan and he gets great write ups. But my point is that he knows all of that. So he should know something that he does not hear from other people, and I should tell him. Because nobody else is going to tell him, so I feel like I should”, said Gauri.

On Koffee With Karan 7, Gauri will share the couch with Maheep Kapoor and Bhavana Panday.
