As per reports in Mid Day, it comes out that while filming, Rani took on the role of a teacher to Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. Karan remembers, "Those were the days that none of us rehearsed for a song. I think Rani, who was new, was the only one who rehearsed all the steps. When we first shot the signature step of Koi Mil Gaya, after I said cut, Kajol looked at Rani and said, ‘What are you doing? You’re doing something wrong.’ Shah Rukh also said, ‘Kuch galat hai.’ From afar, Farah Khan, choreographer, said, ‘She is the only one who is doing it right. You all are doing rubbish!’”
After SRK and Kajol found out about it, the director says they rushed to Rani right away.

Meanwhile, earlier, during an interaction with India Today, Kajol revealed what resonated with her character Anjali from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. The actor said her Tomboy side was without a doubt, and her training clothing and tracks were adorable. To this day, she still wears them. As a result, she still carries that with her to this day.
In the film, Anjali went through a remarkable transformation, going from a tomboy to a seductive saree-wearing woman. Kajol effortlessly nailed both avatars. To which the actor said that she would get her a straightener and blow-dry her hair better if she could change anything about herself.
