The much-awaited promo of Koffee With Karan Season 8 is finally out! And, as expected, the promo features Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in stylish avatars. Karan Johar, too, looks gracious as the host of the show. While the promo continues to trend on social media, not many know that Ranveer Singh proposed to Deepika Padukone in 2015. Interestingly, the popular Bollywood couple even spoke about it in the upcoming episode of the show.

In the Koffee With Karan Season 8 promo released by Disney Plus Hotstar this evening, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone can be seen speaking about their dating life. Reportedly, they dated for about 5 years, that is from 2012-2018, before getting married on November 14, 2018.
On the show, Ranveer can be seen having a conversation about his life before marriage. He confessed that he proposed to Deepika way back in 2015. “In 2015, I proposed to her. Isse pehle koi aur aa jaaye, main jakar chapal rakh deta hoon,” said Ranveer funnily yet convincingly. Deepika Padukone laughs and adds, “Advance booking.” Together, Karan, Ranveer, and Deepika bounced with smiles and laughs.

Interestingly, it is the first time that Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh will come together on the show. Though they have been papped together on multiple occasions, it is the first time they will be seated together on Koffee With Karan. The show, as the name suggests, is hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar – who welcomed the couple on the premiere of the show with love and warmth. He even addressed them as ‘Bollywood royalty’.
Noticeably, Deepika and Ranveer together have a fan following of over 122 million followers on Instagram. They are the second most followed Indian celebrity couple after Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli – who have over 322 million Instagram followers as of date.
