Koffee With Karan Season 8: Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt reveal when Karan Johar is casting them together; find out

The upcoming episode of Koffee With Karan Season 8 has created a sense of excitement among the viewers due to its celebrity guests. Karan Johar will be joined by his "favourites," Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Alia Bhatt. This is the first time the duo will be appearing together on the couch. Interestingly, they are even related now, as Alia is married to Kareena's cousin and actor, Ranbir Kapoor. Ahead of the streaming of the episode, Karan shared a video of a rapid fire with them, featuring questions about him.

In the video, Kareena and Alia reveal what they know about the filmmaker, including his favourite coffee, his selfie side, his go-to dance step, and the song that describes him. Bebo revealed "Raining Men," to which KJo quipped that, on the record, it's not raining men. Moreover, they were even asked when they would work together. To which they replied, "One has discussed," and they will be regrouping soon. 

While sharing the video, Karan wrote, "These two ladies know me the best! But tune into the new episode of #KoffeeWithKaran to learn more! Episode streams start tonight at 12 a.m. (sic)"

Kareena and Alia hint at future projects together

Kareena and Alia worked together for the first time in Abhishek Chaubey's Udta Punjab, which was released in 2016. Recently, they shared the screen space for a jewellery brand, and since then, fans and even celebrities have wanted to see them together on screen. Moreover, many tagged Karan to create something magical starring them. 

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kareena will next be seen in Hansal Mehta's Buckingham Murders, which premiered at the recently concluded Jio MAMI Festival 2023. The actor plays the role of an alcoholic cop in the murder mystery.

On the other hand, Alia is currently shooting for Jigra, which is directed by Vasan Bala. The actor has co-produced the film with Karan Johar, and the film is likely to release next year.
