Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol show their most emotional sides in the second episode of Koffee With Karan Season 8, with host Karan Johar fanboying over them.

Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, brothers from the Bollywood legacy, are ready to kill it. Karan Johar asks them questions regarding Papa Deol Dharmendra's flicks after they discuss Gadar's massive popularity and the Lord Bobby phenomenon.
Is it Koffee with Karan or Teardrops with Karan Johar? That's the thought that comes to mind after watching two episodes of the eighth season. In the first episode, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh made people emotional by sharing their first ever wedding video. This time, the Deol siblings, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, got together on the couch after nearly two decades. They shed their onscreen macho image and showed how they are emotional, shy, and gullible people.
Taking traits from their father's adoration, Sunny and Bobby also show that they are among the soft-spoken people who have to increase the decibel of their sound to deliver dialogue in their films. This episode of Koffee With Karan is very poignant and calm, and Karan mentions, "We are trying to keep our Rapid Fire painless."
The spicy part of the whole episode comes in the rapid fire, where the Deol siblings get a little more candid and catty. With Sunny Deol saying Shah Rukh Khan made actors a commodity and Salman Khan bodybuilders to Bobby Deol admitting to all his rumours from the 90s being true, that's the only taste of gossip we get from this episode.
The episode gets high on emotional quotient with the other Deol men, including Dharmendra, Sunny's son Karan and Rajveer, and Bobby's son Aryaman speaking highly of the siblings. It ends up getting both Sunny and Bobby in tears, which is not what we expected.
As the high with a lot of complications this season opened, there was a steep drop in that area of thought. But what else can we expect from this episode, knowing that the highlight topic would be Gadar 2 and the magnitude of success it faced? With that, Sunny spoke about the failures he had had for almost two decades between the two Gadar films. But those conversations seemed to be on the surface level, with Karan addressing Sunny as "sir" throughout the episode (sugarcoating much?).
Coming to Bobby, the filmmaker host brought all the possible kinks to a limit by addressing the infamous Reddit users who call themselves "Boobians". The thirst trap talk is much of what makes up for the conversation about Bobby. But his emotional talk about dealing with alcoholism due to failure at work takes hardly a minute or two of discussion.
The episode was more of Karan fanboying towards the siblings and getting awed by whatever they said. Come on, he begins the episode by giving a standing ovation to Sunny "sir". Then he has a "ting" moment when Bobby's son reveals that the actor gave him his famous blue shades from Barsaat. More so, Sunny's "fetish" for the teddy bear gets a prolonged discussion, which further helps in making these siblings adorable to another extent.
But the admiration society showed seemed unrequited, and mostly Karan drooled over them. Where's the tea in the coffee mug? Perhaps another episode.
The emotional quotient is high in the second episode of Koffee With Karan Season 8, and there is also a fanboy moment by Karan Johar over Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol rather than getting in-depth, which might leave viewers wanting for more.
