Neetu Singh's recalling her good old days with late husband Rishi Kapoor
Neetu Singh also spoke about her days with her late husband, Rishi Kapoor, when he was getting treatment for cancer in New York. The late actor was diagnosed with leukaemia and received treatment in New York in 2018 for eight months. The 65-year-old actress shared that although her late husband was quite tough and strong at home in India, in New York, he was like a changed person. He was the funniest ever. The whole family had a great time in NYC.
What did Neetu Singh say?
“He was a very loving person. He had a lot of love in him. But there was something—he never really showed his love. He always kept his distance. He was always bullying people, not showing love, especially with me and my children. He was like someone very big—like respect and all. With that attitude, he lost out on a lot with his children.” Neetu Singh shared. “But that year (2018), he opened up. He showed his love. Even towards me, he was so lovely. We had the best time. Well, on the chemotherapy days, we were really down. But other days, he was absolutely fine and energetic," she added.
It’s heartwarming to hear such amazing things about Rishi Kapoor. The late actor passed away at the age of 67 in 2020, after two years of battle with Lukemia.
