Koffee with Karan 8 - Neetu Kapoor reveals she had a crush on Shashi Kapoor, here is what happened next

From the last week of October 2023 to this day, not a week has gone without entertaining Koffee with Karan lovers! This week, too, has an interesting lineup of celebrities. Reportedly, Neetu Kapoor and Zeenat Aman will be gracing filmmaker Karan Johar’s chat show this coming Thursday. Together all three of them would discuss their Bollywood journey with lots of masala in it.

Confirming the development today and sharing the promo of the upcoming episode on Instagram, Karan wrote, “It’s all about the legends and the glam of this episode!!! Neetu Kapoor reveals she had a crush on Shashi Kapoor

In the recent promo of Koffee with Karan Season 8, released on Disney Plus Hotstar, Neetu Kapoor let slip a surprising revelation about her past. When filmmaker Karan Johar inquired about her secret crush from the heartthrob era, Neetu candidly confessed, "Shashi Kapoor."

Caught off guard by the unexpected response, Karan questioned, "You had a crush on your uncle?" Neetu, with a smile, admitted, "Yaa."

For those less acquainted with the Kapoor family tree, Shashi Kapoor was the sibling of the late actor Raj Kapoor. Raj Kapoor, along with his late spouse, actress Krishna Kapoor, had several children, including the late Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, late Rajiv Kapoor, late Ritu Nanda, and Reema Kapoor.

Neetu Kapoor’s personal life

While working on the film Kabhie Kabhie, Neetu and late actor Rishi Kapoor found love beyond the screen. They tied the knot on January 22, 1980. The couple is blessed with two children: Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, born on September 15, 1980, and the renowned superstar Ranbir Kapoor, born on September 28, 1982.
