Koffee With Karan 8’s latest episode featured the two alluring bachelors of Bollywood, one is the Night Manager we all secretly wished to accompany and the other is a fearless Ishaqzaada!
The eighth episode brought Arjun Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur to spill some beans on the infamous Koffee with Karan couch. The duo spiced things up by sharing some “role-play” nostalgia during the coffee shots round. The wholesome episode also discussed about relationships and internet trolls that sometimes stretch their boundaries and step into the realm of “restricted” access.
Arjun Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapoor on Ranbir Kapoor
The two Kapoor’s have dragged their partner-in-crime – Ranbir Kapoor to reveal his “weird” trait. During a candid conversation, Karan Johar reminisced a past incident, revealing that he knows the three Kapoor boys and how gloriously “Adi” (Aditya Roy Kapur) becomes the punching bag. He said, “Ranbir believes he knows nothing about anything. I remember that one time when he asked him (Adi), “You bastard, have you seen Sholay?”
The three men had a hearted laugh before Aditya Roy Kapur blatantly admitted that he knows less about films apparently but has his fair in music and other things.
He retorted, “When it’s actually the opposite. It might be about a few things about films and all. You all know a lot more, but yeah.”
The Kapoors and Mr. Johar then diligently pulled the Animal actor’s leg and revealed how he bridges the gap between films and pop culture.
The celebrity host then confessed that “Ranbir Kapoor is not exactly some pop culture phenomenon as he would like to believe.” To which Roy Kapur quipped, “He knows films”
“He knows films, and he knows his films,” the 51-year-old filmmaker completed the sentence.
Interestingly Arjun Kapoor then revealed one “weird trait” about Ranbir Kapoor that limits anyone to praise him. “And he doesn’t appreciate anybody appreciating his films too much because then he judges them for loving him too much also, which is a bit of a problem,“ the 2 States actor added.
“Yeah, he is weird,” nodded Kapoor.
The entire episode was a fun-filled banter between the most eligible boys, along with a touching discussion on trolls and celebrity life.
