There is a whole new pool of content out there, and it turns out franchise films and shows are now having their moment globally. The last couple of months have been about the sequels, prequels, and threequels of successful IPs releasing on various streaming platforms. Netflix is heavily investing in these, as evidenced by their recent announcements. Most recently, the streamer took the world by storm when they confirmed Knives Out 3 and also announced the title for the same. The third film in the franchise is called Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery. The long title has us all intrigued, and we wanted to know what theme the movie would choose this time around. While we are still figuring that out, we have gotten our hands on the cast additions.
The cast of all Knives Out movies has been the talk of the town because they either go big or take the route where the audience is left surprised. This time around, the makers have chosen to do both. Knives Out 3, aka Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, has found its two leading actors who will star in the threequel alongside Daniel Craig, who happens to be the most pivotal recurring character. Jeremy Renner and Mila Kunis are making their way to the Netflix franchise, and below is everything you should know about the same.
As per ComicBook reports, Netflix has found their leading actors in Jeremy Renner and Mila Kunis for Knives Out 3. The streaming giant has welcomed the two stars, who have a massive fan following. However, what is interesting is that it is indeed a very unconventional pairing when you look at it. There are no details about what parts the two will play, but they have been confirmed to star in the film.
Jeremy Renner was recently in the news for his snowplough accident, in which he had a near-death experience. The actor is recovering and has now bounced back. He is also working on Mayor of Kingstown. Mila Kunis’ resume has been growing, and she was last seen in the adaptation of Luckiest Girl Alive.

The teaser that Netflix shared yesterday has Daniel Craig doing a voice-over as his character Benoit Blanc, saying that his most dangerous case is coming soon to Netflix. One thing that we have understood about this franchise is that the last one doesn't set up the new one. Every movie is very much a standalone film, and there is no sign of the next in the first. Knives Out did not set up Glass Onion, and likewise, Wake Up Dead Man has no connection to Glass Onion. This means Knives Out 3 is very much a new case, and we do not know what to expect. Of course, the film will explore another murder like the first two, but it will be interesting to see what theme the makers choose this time.
