Klikk to bring the magic on serials on their OTT platform

The content of audio-visual mediums is constantly evolving. As soon as OTT became popular among viewers, some platforms started experimenting with forms. Klikk – one of the oldest Bengali OTT platforms – will bring a serial-like show on their platform. Sudipa Basu, Amrita Debnath, and other eminent actors will play lead roles here. In this series, each week will release a new story, rather than a season. So, this will be different from generally what we see on the OTTs. 

The first story is Barujje Family, a comedy. Sudipa Basu, Rohit Mukherjee, Dipanjan Bhattacharya, Sweta Tiwari, Rituparna Sen, Amrita Debnath, Prekkha Saha, and Swarnakamal Joardar will play important roles in the story. Sumalya Bhattacharya directed the first story. He previously directed serials like Bou Kotha Kao and Mon Dite Chai.  

The story revolves around two Banerjee families living in the same building in a south Kolkata residential complex. The director said ‘We all have many problems in our lives. It happens many times that we forget to laugh in such a depressing situation. This heartful effort tries to bring back the laughter and the joyful moments of our lives. Our writer Sanjay Bhattacharya and the creative director Santanu Chatterjee ensured that the audience would roll out in laughter at every moment of the series.
