In the last three years, actress-singer Shehnaaz Gill has seen a lot of ups and downs, from gaining popularity from the reality TV show Bigg Boss Season 13 and back-to-back Punjabi film releases to dealing with personal tragedies like the sudden death of her former boyfriend, Sidharth Shukla.
Now that the actress is all set to make her Bollywood debut in Salman Khan's Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Shehnaaz says that she does not like to talk about her struggles and would rather focus on the good times that are coming her way.
At a media interaction, Shenaaz said, "Even though we are all special children of God, I always feel that I have a very special connection with the almighty. This is also because I am a spiritual person. I will never harm anybody, and I make sure I focus on my good karma. But I also want to grow as an individual. Of course, from where I started, my professional journey has not been easy, and whatever I have achieved so far has been hard. But I also think that we all have a hard life and struggle is part of our journey, so I do not want to talk about my struggle endlessly."
She went on to add, "Whatever low times I went through, there is always something good that has arrived. I have to move towards the light, towards the positive. So, even when bad things happen to me, I learn from them, and I am thankful that even though the path is hard, I have learned some lessons. You do not grow as a person unless you learn and move ahead."
Shehnaaz began her career with the 2015 music video Shiv Di Kitaab. She then appeared in several videos and Punjabi films like Sat Shri Akaal England, Kala Shah Kala, Daaka, and Honsla Rakh.
Her upcoming film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, is a remake of the Tamil film Veeram. It also stars Salman Khan, Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh, Jassi Gill, Raghav Juyal, and Siddharth Nigam. It will release in theatres on April 21.
