Kishkindha Kaandam, starring Asif Ali, has long been anticipated by movie buffs and fans of the actor. The family entertainer is reportedly preparing for its September theatrical debut during the Onam season, even though the makers have not disclosed an exact release date. It is anticipated that the movie will be a holiday cinematic treat for families. If the movie is released at the scheduled time, it will play in theatres alongside Ajayante Randam Moshanam (Tovino Thomas) and Kondal (Antony Varghese Pepe).

All about Kishkindha Kaandam

The filming of Kishkindha Kaandam was completed in 2023. The movie is directed by Dinjith Ayyathan, who previously helmed Kakshi: Amminippilla, which features Asif in the lead role and can be streamed on Sun NXT. In Asif Ali's B Tech, Sunday Holiday, and Thrissivaperoor Kliptham, Aparna Balamurali played the lead female role. She returns to the actor in Kishkindha Kaandam. This film's script was written by Bahul Ramesh, the cameraman for Kakshi: Amminippilla.

The team began filming the movie in July of last year, with locations including Hyderabad and Kerala. The first look poster showed a sitting monkey holding a radio. With the catchphrase "Three Wise Monkeys," Kishkindha Kaandam stars Ashwathy Manoharan, Sudheesh, and Basil Joseph in supporting parts. In this comedy-drama, veteran actor Vijayaraghavan will also play a crucial role. Sameera Saneesh is in charge of costume design, and Sooraj ES is in charge of editing.

Asif Ali’s films in 2024

Two of Asif's most recent releases are Adios Amigo and Level Cross. Alongside Tiki Taka, Abhyanthara Kuttavali, and Kishkindha Kandam in his upcoming lineup. Sony LIV will start streaming the actor's second film, Thalavan, which also stars Biju Menon, on September 12.

Another movie's poster, for Rekhachithram, makes reference to an investigative horror thriller, which stars Asif Ali. While the actor is unmistakably a police officer, Anaswara is dressed as a nun with a ghostly appearance. More details regarding the plot and the release date should be expected in the coming days.
