Kiran Abbavaram is one of the most promising actors in Telugu cinema. Within a short period of time, he has made a name for himself as all his films create attention for some reason or the other. The young actor, who is high on the success of his latest film Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha, released one more film of his titled Meter. The cop drama hit the screens on the 7th of April 2023 along with Ravi Teja's Ravanasura.
Kiran Abbavaram plays a reluctant cop in this film which has been produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The film opened to very poor reviews and did not see basic openings on day one also. As the word of mouth was very bad, the day one collection was dismal and within no time, the film received a flop talk at the box office.

The day two occupancy is quite bad and in fact, the film has been removed from several theaters and Nani's Dasara's has been given a second chance. Mythri Movie Makers and Clap Entertainment are the producers of Meter and they produced this film on a very low budget and did not spend much on the promotions as well.
One of the biggest complaints from the audience is that the narration was loud, the story was beaten to death and the overaction of the actors was to next level. Meter is directed by Ramesh Kadhuri and has some noted faces in key roles. With this film, Kiran Abbavaram needs to make sure that he selects good scripts to go to the next level. For now, Meter is a massive disappointment.
