Warner Bros picture and HBO Max dropped the trailer of the upcoming film, King Richard, starring Will Smith as the titular character of the father of tennis stars Venus and Serena Willaims.
The sports biopic will trace the upbringing of the Williams sisters, the tennis prodigies, from the perspective of their ever-encouraging father, Richard Williams.
The trailer follows Will Smith as Richard, spurring his daughters on to be their best selves, pushing them to become the pro champions they are today. Smith can be seen saying, “You’re going to be representing every little Black girl on Earth,” to one of his daughters.
