Kill, which is just a month away from its theatrical release in India, is building excitement over time. Set against the backdrop of a fast-paced train in India, the film, starring Lakshya, Tanya Maniktala, and Raghav Juyal, revolves around action-packed killing sprees. Now, the makers have dropped a new clip from the film, which hints more at what's in store for the viewers.
The clip begins with Lakshya having an emotional meltdown, but he channels it through by thrashing and slashing the goons left, right, and centre, creating bloodshed all over. This is just a glimpse of what the whole film is all about, as it's some sort of rescue operation by a lover.

In a brave attempt to stop the planned marriage, army commando Amrit (Lakshya) boards a train headed for New Delhi after learning that his love, Tulika (Tanya Maniktala), is betrothed against her will. When Amrit goes on a daring killing spree to save his fellow passengers from a gang of vicious thieves under the leadership of the ruthless Fani (Raghav Juyal), what starts out as a routine commute turns into an exhilarating thrill ride.
Kill is one of the rare violent action films made in India, according to Variety. The entire story of Indian army commandos Amrit and Viresh, tasked with rescuing Amrit's sweetheart, Tulika, unfolds entirely on an express train bound for New Delhi. They have betrothed her despite her protests.
More than 40 members of a family bandit gang hijacked the train with the intention of robbing and abducting innocent people. Amrit and Viresh are protecting Tulika and her family. As the two face off against the crazy bandit Fani, intense, heart-pounding, and visceral combat unfolds within the train's cramped quarters.
The film's director and writer, Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, has set the release date for July 5. The 2023 Toronto International Film Festival was the site of the film's world debut in August. People who went to the movies liked it. Midnight Madness is a beloved fan-favourite and iconoclastic programme highlighting the weird and the wicked. Kill was the only Indian title to premiere on this programme.
Karan Johar and Guneet Monga Kapoor have jointly produced the action thriller.
