Kill – Karan Johar and Guneet Monga's thriller collaboration gets greenlight for Lionsgate Play release

Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Guneet Monga's Sikhya Entertainment join forces for a captivating new venture - Kill. Johar, known worldwide for his signature Bollywood love stories, and Monga, known for her distinctive movies like - Masaan, Gangs of Wasseypur, and Shahid, bring their unique sensibilities together in this thrilling drama. Marking their first collaboration, Kill promises an exciting blend of genres and promises to be a departure from both filmmakers' usual territory. Announced in 2023, the project has already generated anticipation among fans.

Kill's TIFF premiere

Kill premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) last year, and it garnered critical acclaim. It's full of action and intense moments, unlike anything seen in Indian cinema before. The special screening was even met with a standing ovation, showing how much people enjoyed the unique experience. Even Lakshya Lalwani’s blood-sweat first look took the internet on fire when Johar dropped way back in 2023.

Kill story

Kill is an action movie with lots of blood and sweat, like you have never seen in Indian cinema. The whole story takes place on a train to New Delhi. Two soldiers, Amrit and Viresh, are on a mission to save Amrit's girlfriend, Tulika. She's being forced to marry someone else. Things get crazy when over forty goons, like a big family of bad guys, board the train to steal and kidnap. Amrit and Viresh try to protect Tulika and her family. The action is intense and bloody, happening all over the train. They also have to deal with Fani, a really messed up gangster.

However, Koffee With Karan's Season 8 is breaking new ground every week, much to Karan Johar's delight. The show has consistently topped viewership charts on Disney+ Hotstar since its 2023 debut, solidifying its position as the platform's reigning champion.
