Kick OTT release date: When and where to watch Santhanam, Tanya Hope's comic caper online

Santhanam surprised one and all with his first outing of the year DD Returns which was released in theatres in July. The horror-comedy attracted the audience and scored success at the box office. Following this, the makers of his film Kick decided to release the movie soon.

It hit the screens earlier this month. Sandalwood filmmaker Prashant Raj helmed the project which features a bevy of stars like Brahmanandam, Kovai Sarala, Manobala, Senthil and Thambi Ramaiah among others. Tanya Hope was roped in to play the female lead in the movie. 

When and where to watch Santhanam's Kick

The makers have now announced that Kick is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. They informed earlier that the OTT platform had acquired its digital rights. The movie is made available online after four weeks of its theatrical release. The film opened to poor responses from critics and the audience.

Its story revolves around an ad filmmaker who takes a girl's love for granted. The latter, too, is a filmmaker and falls in love with the former without knowing his real identity. How the girl deals with the trauma of getting ditched forms the rest of the story.

Santhanam's next is Vadakkupatti Ramasamy

The actor's next release is Vadakkupatti Ramasamy, a period flick that is said to have ample comedy and fantasy. The project was in the news recently when Trident Arts bagged its theatrical rights in Tamil Nadu.

Karthik Yogi, with whom Santhanam teamed up for Dikkiloona, has helmed the movie while TG Vishwa Prasad has bankrolled it. Sean Roldan has composed music for the film. Megha, MS Bhaskar, John Vijay and Nizhalgal Ravi among others will be seen playing key roles in the movie.
