The first teaser of Kichcha 46 (or Kiccha 46) is finally here as promised to offer much-needed respite to all the fans. The promo video offers a peek into the explosive and bloodied world of the film with Sudeep revealing his Demon shades - he rises from the dead, plucking out bullets from his flesh, and wields a mighty weapon to declare in his trademark baritone that a war has begun. B. Ajaneesh Loknath's score amps up the intensity and the first responses to the promo as largely encouraging.

A few other key details of the film, though, still remain under wraps. It has emerged over the last couple of weeks that Gadar 2 actress Simrat Kaur would play the female lead in the film but the teaser made no such confirmation. In this vein, we now hear that Kannada actress Samyukta Hornad will play an important role in the film.

Samyukta, a popular face in Kannada cinema, is best known for films like Lifeu Ishtene, Oggarane, Arishadvarga, One Cut Two Cut and the more recent Kranti, starring Challenging Star Darshan. She has also performed in a dance number in the 2018 film The Villain (starring Shiva Rajkumar and Kiccha Sudeep) but should the latest buzz come true, then 'Kichcha 46' will be her first starring role alongside Sudeep.

In fact, Samyukta Hornad's latest tweet about the teaser has led social media users and fans to believe that she is, indeed, part of the cast. "Killer 馃敟馃敟馃敟 #Kiccha46 is going to be EPIC! :) Wishing @KicchaSudeep sir and team the best. Reallyyyy looking forward to it.馃尭" she wrote and the comments that followed endearingly welcomed her on board Kiccha 46, wishing her all the luck.

Fans are also pleased about the fact that despite a Tamil filmmaker and producer at the helm, the core crew and cast of the film largely belong to the Kannada Film Industry. Shekar Chandru, who has previously worked with Sudeep on Kotigobba 3 and Bachchan, will handle the cinematography and Shivakumar J, the art director best known for KGF 2, Kabzaa and Salaar, has been roped in for his services.
