Producer Kalaippuli S Thanu took to social media to announce when and where to expect the much-awaited announcement of the release date of Sudeep's film.

Kiccha Sudeep fans, let the countdown begin. In less than 24 hours, the official announcement of what you’ve been waiting for with bated breath for months together will finally be made. Only a day ago, the team of Sudeep’s much-awaited film Max had revealed that an announcement would be made on November 27, but they didn't reveal the time. A little while ago, that bit of information also came through.

In a social media post, producer Kalaippuli S Thanu of V Creations stated that the most awaited MAX'IMUM Announcement Video drops on November 27 at 4.04 pm. The video will be released on the YouTube channel of Saregama Kannada. The producer had earlier posted, "Epics aren’t born in a day, they are forged in fire and glory. The battleground is set, and our 'BAADSHAH' Kiccha Sudeep is ready to conquer!" hinting that the announcement would be about the film’s impending theatrical release. Incidentally, this announcement was supposed to happen on Ganesha Chaturthi, but that was not to be.
The buzz in industry circles has increasingly been about Max hitting theatres in December, with the 27th apparently the chosen date. An earlier date, closer to Christmas, either the 20th or 24this also being heard. But that would mean a clash not only with Unni Mukundan’s Marco, Mohanlal’s Barroz, Vijay Sethupathi’s Viduthalai Part 2, Akshay Kumar’s Welcome to the Jungle, Mufasa, Varun Dhawan’s Baby John, Himesh Reshammiya’s Badass Ravikumar, Allari Naresh’s Bachchala Malli, in the Christmas week, but more importantly, with Real Star Upendra’s UI.
UI, which is Upendra’s return to direction after nearly a decade, has been announced as a December 20 release, with KVN Productions officially onboard as a distribution partner. There are rumors that it may be pushed ahead owing to delays in the completion of VFX work, but the team has not confirmed this. In fact, because UI was set for December 20, it was said that Max would target the Sankranti festival in January.
Well, all will be revealed tomorrow, and the long wait, since July 2022, when fans last saw Sudeep on the big screen (in a full-fledged hero role) will, hopefully, end shortly.
