Kiccha Sudeep puts nephew Sanchith in the spotlight: #Kiccha46 glimpse only after Jimmy first look

Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep had revealed that he was set to shoot a promo for his next film, tentatively called #Kiccha46, in the last week of May. The hope was that this video would be out in early June, but then on Ma y 28, producer Kalaippuli S Thanu said that there would be a delay, tweeting, “Great things take time, although there's a minor delay in the post-production's final output, we're leaving no stone unturned to ensure our Baadshah @KicchaSudeep #Kiccha46 teaser exceeds all expectations. The release date of the teaser will be announced soon.”

For nearly a month, there’s been radio silence from the team about the #Kiccha46 teaser and what fans of the Kannada star got instead was an announcement of the launch of his nephew, Sanchith Sanjeev. The youngster is making his directorial and acting debut with a film called Jimmy, a modern-day gangster tale, based on a story by Sudeep. The character glimpse of Jimmy is set to be revealed on June 25 at 6 pm, and Sudeep is making sure that the spotlight is firmly on Sanchith, whom he has given the moniker, Kichcha Jr. So much so that Sudeep has pushed the teaser of his next film ahead, with an announcement on when it will be drop to be made two days later, on June 27. “The teaser(a small sleek peek) of #K46 is all set. Waiting for @sanchithsanjeev 's announcement teaser to be out on 25th June. The team of #K46 has worked very hard and are all excited to bring it to you asap. Date announcement on 27th June,” he tweeted.

Meanwhile, #Kiccha46 is rumoured to be a cop thriller, which will be directed by debutant Vijay Karthikeyan, although this has not been officially confirmed. To be made as a Kannada-Tamil bilingual, the film is expected to be made in about two months’ time, following which Sudeep will likely begin Billa Ranga Baashaa with Anup Bhandari, or his hosting duties on Bigg Boss Kannada.
