Kiccha Sudeep breaks silence on Kiccha 46: 'Have finalized 3 films, teams are working day & night'

A lot's been said and written about Kiccha Sudeep's next and 46th outing, also referred to as 'Kiccha 46'. The actor has been away from major-league action since Vikrant Rona arrived in cinema halls in July of 2022, and barring a couple of cameo appearances in films like Ravi Bopanna and Kabzaa, Sudeep hasn't had a crucial starring role to speak of.

The 51-year-old star has since then been associated with multiple projects, including Billa Ranga Baasha with Anup Bhandari and an untitled film directed by Venkat Prabhu, but one has awaited a formal announcement on these. After much ado, Sudeep has finally broken the silence on the films in development and provided a crucial update to his fans.

Taking to social media earlier today (April 2), Sudeep offered the much-needed clarification to his fans and succinctly explained the work-in-progress. Speaking of 'Kiccha 46' and the memes/posts associated with it, he said that the rigorous stint of Vikrant Rona compelled him to take a break from mainstream work and that the hosting duties on Bigg Boss Kannada, too, took a lot of his time.

"The best way to enjoy my break was to do something that made me happy. Cricket surely is a sport that relaxes me and I'm happy in that zone," said Sudeep in his post, referring to the recently-held KCC and CCL 2023 tournaments.

As far as his upcoming projects are concerned, Sudeep confirmed that he currently 3 films finalized and that preparations for each project are in full swing. However, with the projects requiring huge amounts of homework, it is a matter of time before he makes an announcement - "the respective teams are working day and night towards it and shall make the announcement soon," said Sudeep to conclude his statement.

Well, with the actor himself confirming that he has not one but three films in the offing, fans would certainly breathe a huge sigh of relief. However, since we are only aware of Billa Ranga Baasha and the Venkat Prabhu film, could the third project he is talking about be the one involving Sudha Kongara & Hombale Films? Well, another testing period of waiting begins for all the fans!
