Kiccha 46: Kiccha Sudeep & Co. take the much-awaited film on floors!

Very recently, a few reports on social media claimed that the makers of Kiccha Sudeep's much-awaited film, Kiccha 46 (or Kichcha 46), have chosen the Tamil Nadu coastal city of Mahabalipuram for a 55-day-long schedule. The reports added that this particular schedule would unfold in the first week of August, though the makers are yet to comment on this. However, it has now emerged that Kiccha 46 is now officially on its way with the latest reports informing us that the film went on floors on Monday, July 31.

Would the team then head to Mahabalipuram as speculated? Well, there is no confirmed news of that happening, as the same latest reports state that the story of the film is set 'in and around Chennai'. The team is said to have planned to shoot the film for 65 days in a single stretch.

Debutant Vijay Karthikeyan directs the film which is billed as a full-blown action thriller and the recent promo released by the makers certainly offers a taste of it. Kalaippuli S. Thanu, the noted film producer who has previously backed films like Kabali, Asuran and Karnan, produces Kiccha 46 under his V Creations banner. With his presence, one does expect a solid film to be in the offing. Kiccha 46 will release in theatres as a pan-Indian vehicle in five different languages, including Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi.
