Kiara Advani reveals Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 shoot also took more time than usual - details inside

Kiara Advani is one of the most successful Bollywood actresses in current times. She is enjoying the success of her most successful horror film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The movie became this year's second-highest earning Hindi movie. The actress recently told HELLO! magazine that the film was also affected by the pandemic and thus, the shooting took more time than usual.

She told the magazine, "We worked on it for three years, even during the pandemic. Everyone was happy with the result. It was incredible to be a part of a family comedy that also has an element of horror and was part of a well-known franchise.”

Kiara continued that the film did two good things - rang in the Box Office numbers and ensured more footfall in theatres, something that was missing post COVID-19. In addition to Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kiara also appeared in the most recent box office success JugJugg Jeeyo, featuring Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor, and Neetu Kapoor.

The comedy-horror movie Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is helmed by Anees Bazmee, scripted by Aakash Kaushik and Farhad Samji. The film is presented by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under the name of T-Series Films and Murad Khetani and Anjum Khetani under the umbrella of Cine1 Studios. The cast includes Kartik Aaryan, Tabu, Rajpal Yadav and Sanjay Mishra among others. The movie is a solo followup to Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007).

Kiara made her film debut in the 2014 film Fugly. She was first noticed in the 2016 movie MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, which also starred Disha Patani and Sushant Singh Rajput. Since then, Kiara has not looked back.

She will next be seen in Govinda Naam Mera alongside Bhumi Pednekar and Vicky Kaushal. The film is bankrolled by Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios. Shashank Khaitan helms the movie. Following that, Kiara will appear in S. Shankar's Telugu film RC-15, which also stars Ram Charan.
