The makers dropped the first song from the film soon after announcing the release date for Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. The track, titled Hone Do Jo Hota Hai, features Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday, and Adarsh Gourav. The video features footage from the real lives of the actors and also glimpses from the film, showing their beautiful friendship in the digital age.

If you think the song sounds similar, it is because the same singers from the Gehraiyaan album are singing it. Savera and Lothika croon Hone Do Jo Hota Hai, with additional vocals by Ankur Tewari, Medha Sahi, and OAFF. Javed Akhtar has penned the lyrics, while OAFF and Savera composed the track.

Film overview

As his first feature film director, Arjun Varain Singh crafts a coming-of-age tale in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. Arjun Varain Singh, Zoya Akhtar, and Reema Kagti co-wrote the film, which features Adarsh Gourav, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday, and Rohan Gurbaxani in significant parts. Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar produced it under Excel Entertainment, along with Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti's Tiger Baby Productions. The song from Baar Baar Dekho (2016) served as inspiration for the film's title.

Siddhant Chaturvedi plays Imaad, Ananya Panday plays Ahana, and Adarsh Gourav plays Neil, three closest friends who navigate life's challenges, triumphs, and emotions side by side. As they navigate the challenges of being twenty-somethings in Mumbai, the three closest friends deal with the complexities of love, ambition, heartbreak, and the irresistible allure of social media.

Kho Gaye Hum Kahan is set for its Netflix premiere on December 26, 2023.
