As his first feature film director, Arjun Varain Singh crafts a coming-of-age tale in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. Arjun Varain Singh, Zoya Akhtar, and Reema Kagti co-wrote the film, which features Adarsh Gourav, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday, and Rohan Gurbaxani in significant parts. Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar produced it under Excel Entertainment, along with Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti's Tiger Baby Productions. The song from Baar Baar Dekho (2016) served as inspiration for the film's title.
Siddhant Chaturvedi plays Imaad, Ananya Panday plays Ahana, and Adarsh Gourav plays Neil, three closest friends who navigate life's challenges, triumphs, and emotions side by side. As they navigate the challenges of being twenty-somethings in Mumbai, the three closest friends deal with the complexities of love, ambition, heartbreak, and the irresistible allure of social media.
