The much-anticipated sequel will finally hit theatres on November 17, lighting up the screen and triggering a tablatod laughter tsunami just in time for the Diwali holidays. The legendary Parekh family is back to delight moviegoers and leave them in stitches with laughter.

The teaser features the Parekh family getting on a mission and heading to a country named Paanthukistan after they are assigned to the task. During their journey, they torture the cops, underworld, and even their pilot with their stupid questions, putting their lives in more danger than anything.

Evolution of Khichdi franchise:

The first Khichdi series came out in 2002, and then in 2005, they created the second season, Instant Khichdi, while they continued the tryst with the third season, titled Khichdi Returns, in 2018. The first film, Khichdi: The Movie, was released in 2010, and after 13 years, the sequel is set for release during the Diwali holidays.

The 2010 film had Nimisha Vakharia as Jayshree Parekh, while Vandana Pathak will be reprising her iconic role from the original. Kirti Kulhari, who made her acting debut with Khichdi: The Movie, is reprising her role as Parminder in the sequel movie.
