Khel Khel Mein was released in theatres on Independence Day, August 15, facing competition with John Abraham's Vedaa and Shraddha Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao starrer Stree 2. The movie is a dark comedy thriller starring Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Ammy Virk, Taapsee Pannu, and Fardeen Khan, among others. We earlier reported that Netflix has acquired the OTT streaming rights for Khel Khel Mein, the release date of the film has now been announced by the streamer. This Akshay Kumar starrer is slated to release on Netflix starting from October 9, 2024.

Khel Khel Mein is directed by Mudassar Aziz. The film features Akshay Kumar and Vaani Kapoor as a couple, and Taapsee Pannu-Ammy Virk as another couple. Apart from them, Fardeen Khan, Pragya Jaiswal, and Aditya Seal play pivotal roles in the film.

What is the story of Khel Khel Mein?

The narrative of the film revolves around a group of friends who find themselves trapped in big trouble when they decide to play a game for fun. As soon as the game begins, a series of mysterious events begin and their hidden stories start to become more and more interesting, however, putting them into a lot of trouble. 

Upon its theatrical release, the film was not a box office success, but with a lot of films making it big after releasing on OTT platforms, Khel Khel Mein is expected to do the same.
