Khel Khel Mein is directed by Mudassar Aziz and the film will bring back Akshay in his most-loved, comedic role. Now, according to a report by Pinkvilla, the release date for the movie has been locked for September 6, 2024. The source also informed that besides Akshay and Taapsee, the film will also star Fardeen Khan, who is making his acting comeback with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi, Vaani Kapoor, Pragya Jaiswal, as well as Punjabi singer and actor, Ammy Virk. The film will coincide with Khiladi Kumar's birthday, which is on September 9.

Apart from the cast, director, and the fact that this is a comedy film, all the other details about the film have been kept a secret. However, the source revealed that the film will be a narrative revolving around three couples. “It’s a situation comedy and the makers will open up the plot with their assets over the coming few months, leading to the theatrical release on September 6,” the source added.
