Khakee season 2 announcement: Neeraj Pandey-directed biographical crime drama is back with new chapter

Netflix's Khakee: The Bihar Chapter starring Karan Tacker and Avinash Tiwary was released last year and garnered immense praise from the cinephiles . Meanwhile, a new promo video unveils that the Neeraj Pandey directorial is now set to be back with a new instalment and, a whole new chapter.

The first season of Khakee

The first season, which is inspired by a real-life story, follows the tale of an IPS officer, who is on a run to nab one of the most popular and heinous criminals in Bihar. Played by Avinash Tiwary, the goon name Chandan Mahto used to be a daily wage worker until he turned into a powerful criminal.

The makers have now dropped a small but thrilling promo video of the upcoming instalment that sees a group of policemen chasing goons on a dense farm. Post that, the announcement video unveils that on public demand, Neeraj Pandey has decided to release a new season of Khakee with a new chapter.

The OTT giant dropped the latest video with a special caption on the YouTube channel that reads, "Aap bulayein aur hum na aayein?! Katta aur kaanoon ki kahani ka dusra padaav - Khakee returns for season 2! (sic)."
