Khadaan: Idhika Paul is Dev’s new actress

Idhika Paul is all set to step into Tollywood and she will be seen with none other than Dev. She is known for the serial Rimli on Zee Bangla. It was previously heard that she might play opposite Dev, but Idhika avoided commenting on that. However, the news is confirmed now. 

Dev and Idhika will pair up in Sujit Dutta's upcoming film Khadaan. Idhika went to Assam to perform a stage show and the good news came there. What is her reaction? Idhika said, “I feel wonderful. I will try to give my best. I want people to be at my side.” 

Idhika has completed the shooting of another Bengali film, where her hero was Soham Chakraborty. But the film is stuck in legal issues. Nowadays, television heroines are pairing up with Dev. Sweta, Soumitrisha, and now Idhika. Does it increase her enemies in the industry? Idhika, in an interview with Anandabazar, said 'I don't look at issues like that. Everyone in the industry is my good friend. I think they will want me to do good work.' 

Dev will play a coal mafia in Khadan. He was seen with an axe in the first look. The film will be jointly produced by Dev Entertainment Ventures and Surinder Films. 

Idhika is popular in Bangladesh due to Priyatama. She was the heroine of Shakib and Sariful Raj. Idhika and Raj will be seen in the film Kabi, directed by Hasibur Reja Kallol.
