Khadaan: Dev and Jisshu U Sengupta’s leak video from Raniganj reveals their camaraderie

Khadaan’s shooting that started on February 18 is going in full swing. Along with Dev and Jisshu U Sengupta, the team has been shooting in Asansole. A couple of days ago, Dev took to his social media and shared a photo of him sitting around a mine area around Raniganj and Asansole. 

Recently, a video went viral showing Jisshu seated in the backseat of Dev’s bike, holding a khol (a traditional drum used for Keertan). He wore a white dhoti and a shirt. Jisshu plays the khol while the bike rides. According to the team, the cinematographer was shooting the entire sequence from a car running beside the bike. 

Now, the shooting’s video has come out. Dev was seen explaining something to the shooting unit’s crew. Jisshu was seen sitting in the opposite direction on Dev’s bike. Sometimes he was seen shooting in a white dhoti and kurta and holding an umbrella. He wore sandals with socks.

The film is said to be a period one and hence The costume went back to the retro era. Dev is seen wearing bell-bottom pants, a printed shirt, and sandals. He grew a beard and was wearing sunglasses. He was seen from behind.

The moments were captured on a Facebook page. The caption of the video says, “The shooting sometimes reminds us of Pushpa 2’s shooting… Some glimpses of Khadaan’s shooting from the Raniganj coal area. Some moments reminded me of Pushpa, but this can be my mistake also.” 

The shooting started on February 16. The film has a long shooting schedule. The story will talk about the lives of the laborers in the coal mines, the politics of the area, and many other things. The story revolves around Shyam Mahato and Mohan Das, and their close friendship. 

Jisshu plays Mohan Das, a Vaishnavite. He used to sing kirtan at one point in time. Sneha Basu plays his wife. Shyam Mahato, originally from Purulia, comes to the place seeking work. The film tells the story of their relationship and the ups and downs in that. 

Barkha Bisht Sengupta will play Dev’s wife. Idhika Paul will play a special role. Anirban Chakraborty will also be in the film. The film is directed by Sujit Dutta and jointly produced by Dev Entertainment Ventures Limited and Surinder Films.
