The news of Kamal Haasan joining hands with H Vinoth was excitedly welcomed by movie buffs, though an official announcement on the same is still awaited. The two of them were recently spotted at an event which fueled the speculation regarding their much-awaited collaboration.

The untitled project is tentatively referred to as KH 233, and is expected to be the next film of the Ulaganayagan that will commence soon. Vinoth has been keeping a low profile since the release of his previous outing Thunivu. He was recently spotted at the audio launch of Maamannan.

The film, we hear, is likely to go on floors soon and the names of Vijay Sethupathi and Ghibran are doing the rounds with regard to their association in KH 233. The former is said to be teaming up with Kamal again after Vikram in a crucial role, while the latter is being considered to compose music.

Ghibran was the musician for Vinoth's Thunivu, Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru and Valimai, and has worked for Kamal's Uttama Villain, Papanasam, Vishwaroopam 2 and Thoongavanam. Kamal is currently busy with Shankar's Indian 2 which is expected to hit screens in 2024.

He has plans to do movies with Mahesh Narayanan, Mani Ratnam, Pa Ranjith and Vetri Maaran. His fans are looking forward to the actor-filmmaker to wrap up Indian 2, after which many announcements will be made. The Vikram star will be collaborating with Lokesh Kanagaraj again as well.

He is also producing STR 48 and SK 21 which has Silambarasan and Sivakarthikeyan playing lead roles respectively. Desingh Periyasamy is helming the former while the latter is directed by Rajkumar Periasamy.
