KGF director Prashanth Neel says he is a Vijay fan; fans pull up his old tweets to find out the truth

KGF was a massive blockbuster and had moviegoers around the country asking for more. Now as they await the release of the sequel, it is confirmed that another highly-anticipated movie, Vijay’s Beast, is set to hit theaters around the same time. 

While a massive clash is on the cards, both Yash and Prashanth Neel, director of the KGF movies, have made it clear that they are looking forward to Vijay’s action comedy.  

Beast director Nelson recently took to Twitter to appreciate KGF; Chapter 2. Neel replied to this, saying that he is awaiting the release of Beast and can’t wait to see Vijay on screen like always. Vijay fans were excited to learn that Neel is a fan and went as far as to confirm it, by digging up some old tweets. 

Fans found out old tweets from Neel which he had posted around the time of Vijay’s Bigil and Master. The director is seen going to the theatres to watch the movie and also calling for an end to piracy of these Vijay movies. 

Once Vijay fans confirmed that Prashanth Neel is indeed a fan of the superstar, some took to Twitter asking when the director would be working with the star. 

KGF: Chapter 2, which is the sequel to the 2018 blockbuster, is set to hit theatres on April 14. With Yash in the lead, the movie also stars Sanjay Dutt, Srinidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj, Ramachandra Raju and Achyuth Kumar among others. 

Vijay’s Beast, which also stars Pooja Hegde, Selvaraghavan and Redin Kingsley, Shine Tom Chacko and Yogi Babu among others, will hit theatres on April 13.
