Prashanth Neel & Co. have ensured thus far that Salaar is recognised primarily as a 'pan-Indian' release and is not linked to any particular language in the lead-up to the release.
Of course, with Prabhas leading the film and Prashanth Neel at the helm, the Telugu and Kannada audiences (respectively) could claim first ownership of the film but it is quite apparent at this point that Salaar will be a bona fide 'India' film.

But what about the task of making Prabhas sound butch and virile in all the non-Telugu languages? The actor recently utilized the dubbing services of Sharad Kelkar for Adipurush, the Hindi version, and it wouldn't be a surprise to see the talented actor/ voice artist reprising his role for Salaar. For Kannada, too, we hear that the makers are employing someone who's already quite popular for his deep & heavy voice and should the speculations come true after all, we will get to hear Vasishta N. Simha dubbing for the Rebel Star.
These speculations or rumours are currently swirling around on social media and the excitement has risen a little among those who deem that Vasishta Simha would be a perfect fit for the job. The actor has made a mark for himself just through his performances but also through his booming voice which has come to be one of his trademarks. So, technically, one does imagine him being the ideal candidate to not just lend a voice to Prabhas' character but also help elevate the larger-than-life world that Prashanth Neel has put together.
Interestingly, Neel and Vasishta Simha have worked with each other in the KGF movies with the latter playing the part of Kamal, one of the many integral characters of the narrative.
Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire releases in theatres on December 22, 2023, and is set to clash with Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki, which releases a day prior and stars Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu.
