KBC Juniors: Amitabh Bachchan applauds Assam's Tritee Ranjhana's ambition to join the Indian Navy

This week on Sony Entertainment Television, KBC Juniors showcases the brilliant minds of young people ages 8 to 15 on the popular knowledge-based game show Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 16. One of them is the ambitious and hard-working Assamese girl, Tritee Ranjhana.

Amitabh Bachchan's admiration for Tritee’s determination

As she dominates the game, she expresses her love for India and her desire to join the Indian Navy. Amitabh Bachchan, the host and legendary figure, smiled and responded, "Wow." It's rare to encounter young individuals who share the same aspirations and goals as themselves. The desire to serve one's country is admirable.

After doing some research, Tritee realised that to follow her passion, she needed to major in science. Although science wasn't her initial intended major, she remains resolute in her pursuit of it.

Big B’s insights on the Indian Navy and its growing strength

Mr. Bachchan went on to say that not many people know much about the Indian Navy, which fuels her ambition. He added that he admires the Indian Navy. It was a privilege to meet with senior navy officers not long ago, and they requested his assistance in getting the word out about the Navy. Their documentary even featured his voiceover. Few individuals recognize the exceptional nature of their work. The Indian Navy has evolved into a strong and fearsome force, armed with advanced technology and a history of remarkable growth.

Bachchan implied that he would like to see one of their ships, possibly an aircraft carrier, to learn more and ask questions. Take the extremely difficult landing of an aircraft on a carrier as an illustration. Many people are unaware of the difficulty of this procedure.

According to Big B, a fascinating Navy practice would be for a captain to shift to a different ship whenever two ships pass side by side in open water. He mentioned to them that he would love to try out their ropeway, which has a leather seat, one day!
