Kaun Banega Crorepati's new season, KBC 16, premiered on August 12, 2024. The first five episodes of the quiz show, hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, are streaming on SonyLIV. You can also watch them with your OTTplay Premium subscription. The latest promo of KBC 16 features Nareshi Meena, from Jodhpur, attempting the Rs 1 crore question. She also tells the legendary actor that she is suffering from a brain tumour.

Will Nareshi Meena become KBC 16's first crorepati?

Nareshi Meena, from Rajasthan, has been courageously battling a brain tumour. Despite her pain, she made it to Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 and now has a chance to win Rs 1 crore. The new promo of KBC 16 highlights Nareshi sharing her ordeal. Amitabh Bachchan says that the contestant is firm in her decision to get good treatment with the prize money. While sharing this promo, Sony TV captioned its Instagram post as, "Apne saare darr aur kathinaiyon ko paar karke aayi hai Nareshi KBC par! Dekhiye KaunBanegaCrorepati, Mon-Fri, raat 9 baje sirf SonyEntertainmentTelevision par (sic)."

Amitabh Bachchan talks about Kaun Banega Crorepati 16

In the first episode of KBC 16, Amitabh Bachchan got emotional as he returned to host the quiz show. Audiences cheered in excitement for Big B as he arrived on the KBC 16 set. The legendary expressed gratitude to the audience. 

"I can't come up with the words to thank you for your prayers which gave a new life to Kaun Banega Crorepati, which illuminated this stage again, and which reunited a family and allowed me to be present among you. I salute this country's people for the resurrection, rebuilding, and rebirth of KBC," he said in Hindi.
