Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 airs on Sony Entertainment Television this Friday, and it promises to be an exciting and memorable episode. IPS officer Manoj Kumar and Vikrant Massey will promote their critically acclaimed film 12th Fail on the Amitabh Bachchan-hosted show.
Dr. Manoj Kumar reflects on KBC's impact on UPSC aspirants
The IPS officer, Dr. Manoj Kumar, stated that he never imagined that this show would be so beneficial for students preparing for the UPSC, in response to Mr. Bachchan's question regarding his feelings about being a part of the show. For the UPSC, students would gather outside pan shops or roadside cafes at 9 o'clock in the evening, where they would eat and study through KBC. Occasionally, they believed their preparation was complete. However, when they started to ask questions, they quickly realized that their preparation was inadequate. Up until that point, schools didn't place a high value on imparting broad information. KBC prompted teachers and parents to recognize the importance of imparting broad knowledge to children. Being here in front of Big B today is an incredible blessing.

Massey, who portrayed Dr. Manoj Kumar in the film 12th Fail, expressed his admiration for Bachchan's work during their conversation. The actor went on to admire Bachchan's work. For 12–13 years, he has been an actor, and for eight of those years, he worked in TV. This is the first opportunity Massey has had to meet Big B face-to-face in his almost 20-year career.

The Shahenshah star cordially responded by saying that it feels like they have met many times before. As he watches Massey's performance, it seems more like a member of Bachchan's family than an outsider.
