KBC 16: Vidya Balan tests 'nervous' Kartik Aaryan's general knowledge before facing Amitabh Bachchan on hot seat | WATCH

Ahead of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3's release, Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan are all set to grace the hot seats of Amitabh Bachchan's quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 16. As soon as the news was out, fans expressed their excitement, as they couldn't wait to see Rooh Baba and Manjulika answering questions on the show.

Sony Entertainment Television shared a new promo of Kaun Banega Crorepati ahead of the special episode featuring Vidya Balan and Kartik Aaryan. The actors will grace the hot seats of Amitabh Bachchan's show ahead of their much-awaited Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 release. 

In the promo video, we can see Vidya and Kartik sitting on a sofa while the former asks him if he has prepared for the show. When Kartik answers, Vidya scares the already frightened Kartik and he adds, "Arey yaar yeh Manjulika wala khatam hi nhi hota. Chalo KBC khelte hai."

Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan pose for selfie with Amitabh Bachchan

A few days ago, Kartik took to his Instagram account and shared a selfie with a caption connecting both the films, Bhool Bhulaiyaa and Bhoothnath. For the unversed, Big B also acted in the horror-comedy, Bhoothnath which is still loved by fans.

Kartik, who plays the character of Rooh Baba in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, shared a picture of the trio on Instagram and captioned it: "Rooh Baba x Manjulika x Bhootnath (sic)," referring to his own character, Vidya Balan’s iconic role of Manjulika, and Amitabh Bachchan’s portrayal of Bhootnath from his own film series.

Directed by Anees Bazmee, Bhool Bhuliayaa 3 will feature an ensemble cast including Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri, Madhuri Dixit, and Vidya Balan. Fans are already excited about Vidya returning as OG Manjulika.

The film is set to release in theatres on November 1, 2024. The film will clash with another biggie at the box office - Singham Again. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the cop-action-drama stars Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Jackie Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Tiger Shroff.

Meanwhile, hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 airs on Sony Entertainment Television from Monday to Friday at 9 pm. The episodes are available to stream on SonyLIV. You can also watch the episodes with your OTTplay Premium subscription.
