Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 16, hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, is one of the most loved Indian shows that airs on Sony TV and SonyLIV as well as OTTplay Premium. In the latest episode, Big B celebrated 25 years of the show with the audience and shared the untold story of shooting KBC Season 1.

Contestant Vinay Gupta asked Amitabh Bachchan about the first day of shooting of Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 1. Big B revealed that he did no preparation and shared, "The makers never noticed my heartbeat, and the camera didn’t capture my legs shaking on the first day. I had no idea what was going to happen."
He continued that he decided that whatever he had to say, he would just say it. "I had watched the game, and contestants came in and started playing, just like the anchor did at the time in the International show. In the beginning, I also did the same," Big B said.

Reflecting on the time slot of the show, the veteran actor said that the show airs from 9 PM to 10 PM, which is the time when families sit together after dinner. The elderly in the family share stories, anecdotes, and lessons, and that is why he thought of bringing in a figure like him, an elderly man with a white beard, who could offer something meaningful and thought-provoking for the betterment of the audience.
