Why did Amitabh Bachchan apologise to Alka Singh on KBC 16?
The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 16 will feature a new contestant Alka Singh. As soon as Alka's name gets confirmed for the hot seat by the actor, she joins him after breaking down into tears of happiness. Mr Bachchan, being a gentleman, offers her multiple tissues. After getting seated, Alka tells the actor that he wasted two tissues as she cried just a little. Listening to her, Amit Ji says 'accha sorry' and Alka says 'Good Boy' and everyone breaks into laughter.
The new promo also teases a lot of fun conversation between the host and the contestant. Sharing the promo on their social media account, the makers wrote in the caption: "Alka Singh aur Amit ji ke beech hua dher saara hassi mazaak! In an earlier episode, Amitabh Bachchan made a huge gesture towards a contestant named Nareshi Meena who was dealing with a brain tumour. The 27-year-old contestant couldn't answer the Rs 1 crore question and won Rs. 50 lakh on the show. However, even before she reached the 1 crore question, Big B heard her story of struggles because of the tumor and promised that he would cover the cost of the proton therapy she needed to remove tumour from her brain.
