KBC 15: A contestant attempts the question of Rs. 7 crores, falls at Amitabh Bachchan’s feet | WATCH

Well, this is the day and date when the evolutionary and revolutionary game show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ (KBC) had got premiered. In no time and with each passing episode, the game show went on to become one of the most watched shows ever in the history of Indian television.

There were many reasons for ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ to top the popularity charts. The show’s host Amitabh Bachchan topped all these reasons. Besides him, his aura and his impeccable hosting skills, there was also the prize money, for which many contestants all across were seen trying their luck.

Almost every season, the audience saw the birth of a new crorepati. There was also a season when two brothers went onto win a whopping Rs. 7 crores as the ultimate prize money. The ongoing season (KBC 15) is no different. Even though there have been a few additions on the show this season, the prize money for this season still remains a whopping Rs. 7 crores!

The show’s channel (Sony Entertainment Television) dropped a fresh promo of a contestant attempting the grand prize question of Rs. 7 crores. The promo also showed the contestant crying bitterly as Amitabh Bachchan consoles him. The video also has Amitabh Bachchan (in his trademark baritone voice) saying, “ Younhi nahi umad aate hain jazbaat, wajah zaroor hoti hai, bataaunga aapko”. This is then followed by Amitabh Bachchan asking the dreaded sixteenth question of Rs. 7 crores to the contestant, who is seemingly all nervous.

The said post was captioned by the channel as, “Umad aaye contestant ke jazbaat, jab woh karenge saamna ₹7 crore ke sawaal ka! Dekhiye #KaunBanegaCrorepati, Budhvaar-Guruvaar raat 9 baje, sirf #SonyEntertainmentTelevision par”.
