On the show, the senior actor shared that his wife Jaya Bachchan took the majority of responsibilities when their children Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan were born.

When a contestant asked Amitabh Bachchan who took responsibility when Abhishek and Shweta were born, the legendary actor said, "Jaya ji." On being asked about the challenges of parenting, Sr Bachchan humorously replied, "Jaya ji karti thi (parenting)." The veteran actor further expressed disappointment over not spending enough time with his children.
"Sara-kuch Jaya ne kiya hai… Jitna samay hum Abhishek aur Shweta ke saath bitaana chahte the, woh nahi kar paaye. Jab kaam par jaate the, tab woh so rahein hote the aur jab waapas aata, tab bhi so rahein the.. But ab jo bade hogaye hai, toh unke saath samay bita leta hu ab," shared Big B. This episode will air on December 30, 2024.
(Loose translation: Jaya has done everything... I wanted to spend as much time with Abhishek and Shweta, but I couldn't. When I used to go to work, they used to sleep and when we came back, they used to sleep even then.. But now that they have grown up, I spend time with them.)
