Not just the colours of our tricolour, but love, too, is in the air today. Just a while ago, actors Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal dropped a lovely photo on Instagram in which they can be seen celebrating the momentous occasion of India’s Independence Day together.
Standing close to each other, both Katrina and Vicky can be spotted looking at the Indian National Flag with pride.
On Instagram, the caption of Katrina Kaif’s post read, "Happy Independence Day!". In the social media platform’s Story, Katrina even attached the patriotic song ‘Saare jahan se accha’ to it. Vicky and Katrina can be seen twinning in white attire.
While Katrina chose to wear a white kurta pyjama, Vicky chose to wear a white shirt with blue jeans.
Soon after this photo surfaced on social media, fans of the celebrity couple began pouring hearts and lovely praises into the comments section.
"Katrina and Vicky are the cutest couple," wrote one Instagram user. Another admirer wrote, "Katrina Kaif is not Indian, but she respects India’s cultures and traditions. Truly appreciable."
Earlier in the day, Vicky Kaushal greeted his fans on the momentous occasion by dropping a video of the flag being unfurled by the countrymen and attaching ‘Ae Watan, a patriotic song from his film Raazi, to it.
He even demonstrated his love for his country on the 77th Independence Day as he hoisted the national flag at his residence.
Vicky and Katrina’s love story
Vicky and Katrina got married in December 2021 in an intimate ceremony in Rajasthan. Prior to them tying the knot, rumours were rife that they were dating each other. In one of the episodes of the show, Koffee With Karan, Vicky Kaushal felt lovely imagining Katrina in his life. Since then, the two most popular Bollywood stars have been cheering their fans on with the idea of love via their social media handles.
On the work front, December 2023 is going to be a special month for the couple as they will celebrate their second wedding anniversary. Not only this, but Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur and Katrina’s Merry Christmas will be released theatrically.
