With Arya's Kathar Basha Endra Muthuramalingam gearing up to hit screens on June 2, the team dropped the trailer from the rural entertainer today. The film marks Arya's maiden collaboration with Muthaiah, who is known for his rustic rural films, with the last one being Karthi's Viruman.

Going by the trailer, it looks like the plot revolves around two communities who don't get along. However, the arrival of Kathar Basha Endra Muthuramalingam changes it all as he tries to make the villagers understand that Ayyanar and Allah are one, and that there's no point fighting with each other. The film stresses upon unity as a mighty force.

Arya is kicking up some storm in the trailer as he takes on the antagonists, doles out some mass punch dialogues and tries to bring peace between the warring factions. Prabhu and Aadukalam Naren seem to be playing crucial roles in the film.

Siddhi Idnani plays a rural character for the first time. This will be Siddhi Idnani's second Tamil film after her debut with Gautham Menon and Silambarasan TR's Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu. The supporting cast includes Bhagyaraj, Singampuli, Tamizh, Madhusudhana Rao, Avinash, R.K.Vijay Murugan and others.

Music for the film is by GV Prakash Kumar. While R Velraj is handling the cinematography, editing is by Venkat Raajen and art direction is by Veeramani Ganesan. The stunt choreography is helmed by Anl Arasu. Leading dance choreographers Baba Baskar, Shobi, Sandy, Jani, Sheriff and Sathish have come together for the film.

Zee Studios and Vedikkaranpatti S Sakthivel of Drumsticks Productions have bankrolled the project.

It seems like a packed year for Arya, who has a slew of releases lined up, which includes Pa Ranjith's Sarpatta 2, Manu Anand's FIR and Sundar C's Sangamithra. Fans are eagerly awaiting the return of Kabilan Chelliah, the popular character played by Arya in Sarpatta Parambarai.
