After Shang-Chi actor Simu Liu, SNL star Kate McKinnon is in talks to star in the upcoming live-action Barbie movie set at Warner Bros.
The titular character will be played by Margot Robbie, while Ryan Gosling has been cast as Ken.

The cast also includes America Ferriera, though her role has not been specified as of now.
The Barbie movie has been in the making since 2019 but its only recently that there have been any updates regarding it. Production will likely begin this year at the Warner Bros Leavesden studio in London, writes Variety.
