Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday reunite for Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri? Here's everything we know so far

It was recently when Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan dominated the mainstream headlines, announcing their reunion with Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, after what felt like an age-long cold war. Their coming together created waves as their fallout was public. Bringing filmmaker Sameer Vidhwans on board, Dharma Productions is shaping a unique film, as per word going around. However, the biggest question surrounding the movie has been who will be the female lead. Over the past few weeks, a couple of names have been linked to the project, including Munjya star Sharvari. But it turns out the makers have now locked Ananya Panday for the role.

Ananya Panday and Kartik Aaryan to Reunite

Yes, you read that right. As per the latest reports, Sameer Vidhwans, Karan Johar, and Kartik Aaryan have likely found the leading lady for Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri. The quirky-titled movie will reportedly feature Aaryan romancing Ananya Panday, according to a Pinkvilla report. The makers sought an actress with strong youth appeal, and after considering a few names, they have shortlisted Ananya Panday. 

A source close to the development said, "Kartik and Karan were looking for an actress with strong pull among the youth, and after contemplating the names, they locked Ananya to play the female lead. Ananya and Kartik are a successful pair, and this would extend their partnership further."

Meanwhile, the source has also confirmed that Kartik Aaryan will work with Sharvari but not in Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri. Instead, the actor plans to star opposite the Munjya fame in a love story set to roll by the end of 2025. The source says Kartik is excited to reunite with Ananya and also work with Sharvari. There are rumors Sharvari may also star in Pati Patni Aur Woh 2.

Talking about Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, a source said, "Sameer Vidhwans has cracked a fresh world for the Kartik Aaryan starrer and has already done his round of recce in the international arena." Directed by Sameer Vidwans, the film is presented by Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures. It is produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Shareen Mantri Kedia, and Kishor Arora. It is set to arrive in theaters in 2026.
