Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is currently basking in the acclaim that is coming her way as a result of the release of the newest season of her talk show What Women Want, recently stated that the Hindi film industry has improved for the better and is on the path towards progress. She also said that the industry as a whole is moving away from the concept of big or small actors and towards good actors.
Kareena told IANS that women in the business are now so vocal, and rightfully so. It's great that her fellow female actors have been so brave in choosing scripts and roles in different shows.
The actor also said that in today's entertainment industry, there is no such thing as a "big" or "small" actor; there are just good performers. As modern cinema has grown, many of the lines between different types of movies and other types of movies have become less clear. From this point on, things are just going to get better and better.
The brand new show from Kareena titled What Women Want is now being shown on the Mirchi Plus YouTube channel.
On the movie front, Kareena will next be seen in Sujoy Ghosh's Hindi version of The Devotion of Suspect X with Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma. The film is set for a direct-to-OTT release on Netflix.
Kareena will play a leading role in Rhea Kapoor's upcoming film The Crew, which also stars Tabu and Kriti Sanon. The film also features Diljit Dosanjh as the male lead.
Hansal Mehta's movie The Buckingham Murders is the first one that Kareena has produced. In the movie, the actor will be essaying the role of a cop, and she extensively shot for it in London.
The release dates of her upcoming projects are yet to be announced.
